Membership

It is not necessary to have a vast amount of experience in finance or the valuation of companies in order to join the CIA. We encourage everyone who has an interest in the industry to join as they will gain valuable experience that will help later in their career. Whether you a complete beginner and want to become acquiantaned with concepts before joing the Carolina Fund, or you are the next Warren Buffett and are ready to be a lead analyst in a sector, there is a place for everyone.

Membership allows you to attend weekely fund meetings, become part of a Carolina Fund Sector and gives you access to our ever growing range of professional valuation guides, workbooks, valuation models and DVDs.  As this club is aimed to be a "real life" learning experience we allocate a large portion of your dues to buying the professional resources that you will gain access to as well as food!  Being a member of the CIA is a fun, exciting and challenging experience and we hope you join the premier business organization The Moore School has to offer.

Dues are $30 per semester. Dues will be required by October 11th otherwise we will unfortunately have to  prevent you from coming to the meetings as food will be an issue. For any dues received after the deadline, we will require that a $5 late fee be added to the total amount.  If you wish to join after this date you can bring your dues to your second weekly meeting.
